I am RainFern. I have a website RainFern.com
I'm an Author, Publisher, Aquarium Biologist and more. I am extremely passionate about survival. You can definitely say that I'm a survivalist! (At least you can say that I'm an amateur Survivalist.)
I do have a section of my website dedicated to Survival, still I figured that I have so much to say about the subject of Survival, that I needed to have a blog dedicated to it.

I've always wondered about survival and been extremely interested! I've also always been slightly angry that "Survival" isn't a subject that's taught in classes at school. The idea of Survival is so important! Survival is what has gotten us where we are today. We are (as a Species) alive and even thriving! (At least, for some of us, we may feel as though we are thriving. We'll get more into the concept of thriving later.) There is only one reason that our species (The Human Animal,) didn't go extinct long ago, and that reason is "Survival".
Obviously, survival is more important than recreation and entertainment. We must survive if we want to continue our way of life (and hopefully better it.)
And here is some sad news...
Most people don't know the slightest thing about surviving. If they were dropped nearly anywhere, even semi-wild, they would surely perish. Most likely from lack of simple, basic, primitive-even, survival skills!
I aim to change the way that modern day humans think and live, enabling us to Survive and Thrive, in Harmony with the Environment, for many more generations to come. I will Learn about Survival and I will Teach everything that I know about Survival, to anyone who cares to Learn. Finally, I will do all that I can to spread the word about what Surviving really is and what it takes to survive anywhere on earth (that is, no matter where you are on the planet or what environmental conditions you may have to deal with, I will teach you survival techniques that may save a person's life in nearly any situation!)
